Party Time!
Aison's party was a hit! All the little boys running around made it crazy fun! I can't wait to see them as they grow together. Aison dug into his cake like a champ! Black icing on elbows, eyebrows and toes!!! It was like an assembly line of boys going from chair to bath then back to playing! We now need a separate room just for Aison's boy toys!!! Thanks everyone for coming and for making it such a memorable time! I love you Aison!

I am "This Many"!!
I'm a little late on this, but better late than never! My baby turned the big "1" February 15th! I can't believe it. Time flies sooo fast. It hits a little harder when you know it's your last 1st birthday. :( I love my little man with all my heart and all my soul! He is so much fun and has the best personality. I think he is a lot like Kenady. Saying that, we are definitely in for lots of laughs and maybe a few spankings! He is saying "dri"(drive), "pu"(puppy), "ba"(ball). He also says "aaaah" when he knows he's doing something he shouldn't or when the dog comes close. He started walking at 11 months and is doing great now. He hardly ever crawls. We just took out the afternoon bottle so he is now only taking one to fall asleep with. It may be a while before this one leaves. We both need that one!! He is still waking a few times at night. Sometimes I can get him back to sleep with the paci and a pat on the butt, but most times he has to be rocked for a while. He loves playing with balls and with both girls. Dylan is such a great helper. She wants to be a little "Momma". He isn't always for it though. He loves, loves, LOVES to be outside. It is a fight to the finish to get him back in the house. He also loves his Daddy! He just melts Chad's heart when he reaches for him! I love my kids so very much. More than words can say. It's amazing to me how this little boy made our family complete!! We love you AC!!
Vegas!!
Well, I finally got Chad to go to Vegas with me!! Actually, I didn't. Mom & Danny did. We were given a trip with the family to Vegas for Christmas/Birthdays!! What a gift! We are truly blessed to have such generous parents. It doesn't hurt that they are a blast to be around too! Randi, Taylor, Scott, Kristi, Mom, Danny, Chad & I all graced Vegas with our presence! "She" was nice to some of us, but not so to others. Chad lost quite a bit, but that only fueled his once skeptical fire. He is already planning another trip there or Shreveport! WooHoo for me!!! While there, Chad got TAKEN from Mr. 3-Card Monty! He reached in Chad's wallet, said "I would like that crisp 100 dollar bill", said "Thank-You very much" and sent Chad on his way wandering what the hell happened! He has now been practicing his "Monty" skills and will try it on everyone around. Just ask him!! We had a great time and hope we can do it again before long! Thanks Mom and Danny! We love you! Randi has the pictures. As soon as I get one I'll post.

Who's Competitive?
Update: We lost the by two points in the last 30 seconds of the Championship game. I am so proud of all the girls! They worked their little tails off and played hard. We were up against a much taller and bigger (and probably mostly 2nd grade) team. Dylan scored a point and fought for several rebounds and steals. She is getting more confident with each game and I know will just get better!!
Well, I mentioned before that I am coaching Dylan's basketball team along with a friend of mine. We went into this endeavor saying over and over that we were just doing this to give the kids some experience and to have fun with it. No competition at all. The kids are having fun and getting a great experience out of it. But the competition thing....I'm having a little trouble with. We get them suited up, warmed up and out on the court and the adrenaline kicks in and I become "that mom". The one screaming and yelling from the side. The one telling Dylan to be mean and fight for the ball out on the court! We make a point and I find myself "accidentally" screaming and jumping a yelling. We are down a point and I grab one of the good players and stick her in. I want to win!!!! I am okay if we lose, but I want to win!!! We had our 1st tournament last week. It began on Thursday in the big Lefors, TX. We lost our 1st game, but Dylan scored 4 of the 7 points. That put us playing again Saturday at 11:30. We won that game so we played again that day at 7:30. We won again!!! WooHoo! We are playing for the trophy tonight at 7:45. So proud of the kids, win or lose! I know I sounded a bit over the top before, but I am truly ok with a win or loss tonight! This is lots of fun. I really missed being a part of basketball! I will update again after the game.

We have a walker!!!
Well, it's official! Aison began truly walking yesterday. He has been walking, holding on to things, for months. He would let go, only with us forcing him to, for a while now. But that was not fast enough for him. He would drop to his knees and head out in warp speed towards whatever he was NOT supposed to have. But he will now let go on his own and walk across the room. I took a video with my phone and hoped it would be good enough to see, but I am not savvy enough to make it download here. Soooo....I'll find a picture to post with it. Final thought..."Oh my! We are in for it!"

Busy Bees
I can't believe how busy my girls already are...and they are only 7 and 3! Our week is like anyone elses week with work, school, and the usual "Mom" stuff! But now we have added gymnastics, tap, and recently basketball. Evidently my Mom forgot to teach me the word "no" because I have a hard time saying it. I am now a proud "basketball coach" teaming up with a friend of mine. We practice on Mondays and have tournaments on the weekends. Tuesdays consist of running home after school to start supper (if it's my turn to cook), getting Dylan to gymnastics from 5:00-6:00, during which I finish supper and get Kenady "all gussied up" for tap. I then rush to get Dylan and head on to Hollis for Kenady's tap and a short gab session with my wonderful friend, Shawna. We bring pjs so the kids can take a bath there while they visit after supper. We then rush back home to give a quick kiss goodnight and tuck the kids in bed. About the time Dylan is finished with basketball, it will be time to begin T-Ball. (Which I will NOT be coaching) It sounds like I'm griping, but I'm definitely not. I think it's great for the kids. They love it and I truly enjoy watching them having fun with it. The scary thought is that this is only the beginning...
